  3. Read carefully Isaiah 7:1-20 (see Matthew 1:23). Discuss how this was taken as a prophecy of the virgin birth of Jesus.
  4. Explain how prophecies might have a double meaning.
  5. Explain why certain prophecies are especially meaningful to you?
