You will need:

  1. 3 x 2950T switches
  2. 3 x PC (connecting to Switch 2)
  3. 3 x PC (connecting to Switch 3)

Configure Base Topology

On each object (where applicable):

  1. Set a unique host name
  2. Set a unique display name
  3. All objects and host names must begin with your initials and the last 4 digits of your student ID. They must be unique to your assessment.
  4. Configure and assign ethernet interfaces on the PC.
  5. Create and name VLANS on the switches.
  6. Assign switch port(s) to a VLAN.
  7. Add, move, and change ports.

Deliverables:

  1. Build topology in packet tracer using your assigned IP address and ensure that you have unique host and display names. – 10 points.
  2. Verify VLAN configuration to show which ports have been added to the switches using show vlan brief command. Provide total of 3 screenshots (1 screenshot per switch). – 15 points.
